Description
Mana Akiaki – LifeKeepers for Māori is the national suicide prevention training programme that is delivered through a te ao Māori lens, weaving te reo me ōna tikanga, ngā whakataukī, and mātauranga Māori.
It combines an internationally proven, evidence-informed approach with local knowledge and experience, to provide a programme that is community focused, clinically safe, and culturally responsive.
Fluency in te reo Māori is not necessary for this training.
