The Le Va Pasifika Suicide Prevention Community Fund is aimed at preparing more Pasifika families and communities to prevent suicide and respond effectively if a suicide occurs.
The fund seeks to support Pasifika communities to effectively implement community-based initiatives so that families and communities are:
- strongly connected
- equipped with the skills to cope with distress
- actively building resilience and reducing the risks of suicide
- assisted in accessing support services
- supported to build a strong cultural identity to enhance mental wellbeing

Applications for the Le Va Pasifika Suicide Prevention Community Fund are now closed.
The closing date was Wednesday 31 July at 4.30pm.
We invited online applications for funding between $50,000 and $200,000, excluding GST.
Funded projects must be delivered in full between 7 October 2024 to 24 October 2025.
