From 2024, Le Va is administering a new Addiction and Problem Gambling Harm Scholarship, funded by Te Whatu Ora, intended to increase the capability and capacity of the workforce.
This scholarship is open to anyone studying towards a qualification that contributes to reducing harms from alcohol and other drugs and problem gambling.
While our Futures that Work Pacific Mental Health and Addiction Scholarship is for students of Pasifika descent, applicants from all backgrounds are welcome to apply for our Addiction and Problem Gambling Harm Scholarship.
How to apply
Applications for the 2024 Le Va Addiction and Problem Gambling Harm Scholarships are now closed.
The closing date to apply was 5 February 2024 at 5pm.

Important dates
Applications open: Monday 2 December 2024 at 8:30am.
Applications close: Monday 5 February 2025 at 11:59pm.
Successful applicants will be notified in late March 2025.
Awarded Scholarship funds will be paid*: Full year or semester one fees will be paid in April 2025. Semester two fees will be paid in July 2025.
*Awarded scholarship funds will be paid directly to the education provider.

- Complete all parts of the application form
- Attach all supporting documentation requested
- Attach your fees invoice
- Attach any additional information that may support your application
- Sign the declaration form.
