Community and NGO Pasifika services
Community mental health teams will carry out an assessment to see what kind of help you need. This could be a psychological or a psychiatric assessment.
There are community mental health teams that focus on children and young people. There are Pasifika community mental health teams in regions with a large Pasifika population. These services are linked to DHBs so you will usually have to live in the right DHB area to access them. There are often Pasifika workers within mainstream services. Ask and find out.
